Serguei played in many Symphony Orchestras and pop & rock bands.

Born in Ukraine, Serguei started learning to play the violin at 7.

His academic background includes fifteen years at the Donetsk Music Institute, the Donetsk School of Music and the Kramatorsk Music School.

In Western education his background is equivalent to a Master's degree.

He also has 25 years experience teaching in music institutes and schools.

Sergeui has played with the Moscow Chamber Orchestra, Moscow Raido-TV Symphony Orchestra, Opera Symphony Orchestra and a variety of Russian pop and rock music groups, not to mention famous singers such as Senchina, Shulzenako, Kobzon and Zaharov.

Sergeui recorded fifteen albums with pop/rock musicians and chamber orchestras and has extensively toured the USSR and Eastern Europe with a number groups and artists, participating in int'l music festivals in Berlin, Warsaw, Budapest, Prague, Bucharest, Sofia, Belgrade, Zurich and Geneva.

As a Canadian citizen, when in St. Johns, Newfoundland, Serquei entertained and recorded as a soloist, as a composer and as a member of the Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra.

He also toured Canada with both Canadian artists and the Newfoundland Chamber Orchestra and has recorded four albums with Phyllis Morrisey, Pamela Morgan and Kathy Phippard.

In 1998, Sergeui released a CD of original compositions containing over 63 minutes of Russian-Gypsy music.
